I am a UK designer that specialises in creating unique, one of a kind dresses, gowns and garments individually to be shipped all over the world.

So, hi there, this is me again...I am usually more associated with wedding dresses and a few of you will know me from my design work at Bound By Obsession and other places.  Being more eco friendly and creative has always been at the front of my mind as I am designing and working on garments and I have always prided myself on doing as much as I could whilst always feeling like I was falling short of the mark.  Lockdown gave me a lot of time to reflect and research and think on a deeper level about whom I want to be and what I want to pass on to my children and their children so along with some pearls of wisdom from Patrick and Greta, I have begun to completely overhaul my life and my work.  Bound By Obsession quite often gave me more opportunities than I could truly make the most of so I have recaptured my own self and had a good long look at the person I used to be and the expectations that I had when I was growing up.  There is so much more to life and the planet that is not so hard to grasp. I have done a massive amount of research into the production of textiles and garments throughout history and as much as we like to think that anything other than mass production is impossible, it really isn't!! I have pledged to myself to find better ways to live and make a living and I would really like to share some of my journey. The victorian and vintage eras are so popular but people seem to think that the nostalgia means that those days are obsolete and unobtainable and that just isn't true.  The amount of good that we could do for the planet with a little bit of fun that kept the human race alive for thousands of years.

I take exceptional pride in every stitch that goes into my corsets and clothing. I have put decades of research into the patterns and construction. Each piece of fabric that I work with has been specifically hand selected and all of the materials used in construction are the highest possible standard.

I specialised in corsetry over twenty years ago; my work has been displayed in numerous catwalk shows and fashion events. My work outside corsetry has also been used in theatre, various television documentaries revolving around historical clothing from a wide range of eras. I also used to make historically accurate garments for a stunt team who performed for various organisations including national heritage. My historical garments have been used for tv programmes such as time team and have been used in documentaries aired on the discovery channel and national geographic.

Working from my design studio, I wanted a label away from the pressure where I could let my own creativity flow and create new pieces inspired by decades of work and research but not constrained by it. I have a passion for making historical clothing wearable today.  Over the years I have developed many hundreds of patterns ranging from the historically accurate and the historically inspired, to my own unique designs. My corsets are all fully steel boned and constructed depending on the historical inspiration, as they would have been at the time.
